Sebastian Cariaga - DnB Mix (Sep '10)
- We have a very special mix for this week from Sebastian Cariaga. He's put down his normal deep tech-house crate and picked up some intelligent drum 'n bass. The mix is another can't miss and a great change of pace from the oh-so-popular tech-house sound. Sebastian's previous effort can be found here. His latest deep house EP has come out since then and can be found on Beatport on Escada Music.
James Demon - The Teaser
Formerly from Las Vegas, James Demon migrated to Miami in recent months to pursue new, unique opportunities. He has a long history of club gigs and event promotions from his native city and is settling in well here in Miami. The mix for this week is dark and moody but not too serious… just right. Jeremias Paez - MDP Mix (Aug '10)
- Miami local Jeremias Paez came highly recommended from some of the previous contributors and his mix provided does not disappoint. It's a silky, smooth deep tech-house mix that should not be missed. Born in Argentina, Jeremias migrated to Miami 10 years ago. He's been active in the EDM scene and will be releasing a track with Jason Baez later this year. Make sure to get this one a listen, perfect for a late night after-party.
Laura (of Miami) - Yacht Yellow .01
Laura (of Miami) is a mega-host and music director of 90.5 WVUM holding down 2 weekly shows, Vamos a la Playa (Mondays 5-7pm) and Rotations (Thursday 5-7pm). The former specializes in NuDisco (much like the mix provided today), while the latter airs on the indie side of electronica. She's also an active contributor on the Nightdrive artist/event blog and organizes parties all over the city with the rest of the crew. She has an upcoming show at the Pickle on Saturday the 14th alongside MillionYoung and will be starting a regular weekly gig on Sundays at the News Lounge.
